Re: 11 JJ early / upfront standard?
i might probe bet the flop about 200-250 and fold to reraise. i think youre giving the villain to much of a chance to push you out on weakness, but the passive c/f line is not bad either. nf.

Re: 11 JJ early / upfront standard?
I open 3x pre w/ TT+/AKo/s. Reads on button would be helpful b/c a squeeze might be in order if he is loose.
As played I c/f. |

Re: 11 JJ early / upfront standard?
I'd guess at showdown he had AK/AJ/AT/KT/99 - all of which you beat. It seems to me most players on FTP use the bet pot button when they have strong hands. Not that I would have played the hand differently than you did though.

Re: 11 JJ early / upfront standard?
Maybe im too tight, but i am folding JJ in early position on 15/30 and 7 people after me... Sometimes i raise 3x, but never call.

[/ QUOTE ] At 15/30 when you limp you'll often still have implied odds to play it for set value if someone behind you does raise. When you raise it to T90 up front and someone re-raises you most likely have to give up the hand. |

Re: 11 JJ early / upfront standard?
Maybe it is because i play low-level buy-in and you not. For you decision that will give you ROI more than 10% is good, but on 3$ it is break-even, because opponents are so bad... I will think about it...

The fact that they're going to call you with trash is a good thing. |

Re: 11 JJ early / upfront standard?
you should definitely play jj at low stakes and probably raise first in.
