Default Value bet river with top set?

Obviously not the nuts anymore... but I suspect he will call a shove with a lower set.

is opp always that passive w/ sets? or a calling station?

his line looks like a draw... a straight draw did hit, but it's a weak straight draw, however if he had just a draw, the only thing he's calling you with is one that hit, if he missed he'll fold. So of the times you're called, you lose.

but a calling station would pay off w/ two pair (reasonable holding for opp) so you wouldn't always be behind when called. so against a calling station I bet, against anyone else, I check.

value-betting thin is important for a million different reasons, and this isn't even that thin.
