im not particularly worried that he's called preflop/flop/turn with an 8. doesnt make much sense.

280 isn't all that deep. That 8 doesn't change anything.

He's got 99+ a ton here I think. AA/JJ are very real here. QQ is def going to pay it off here, TT maybe not. It's pretty a pretty thin vb on the river.

However, I'm prob going broke here, and I think if the rest goes in with you betting and him calling you're good more often than if the money goes in with you check/calling (since he'll check behind TT etc and there's not really bluffing hands that make sense for him).

standard. only hands u have to worry about are prob 77.88, or JJ. i mean unless he is a complete moron, 8 on river shouldn't be much of a concern.

I'd c/c river. I dont think you're getting called by 99 or TT...only QQ. With that said, I think AA will check behind. However, by checking you allow TT and 99 to bluff. c/c seems like the most valuable play.
