Wow, you've come to the same conclusions as Kirk Johnson from the Heritage Center. Hey, that bastard ripped you off word-for-word!

Wow, you've come to the same conclusions as Kirk Johnson from the Heritage Center. Hey, that bastard ripped you off word-for-word! [/ QUOTE ] PWND. IIRC, old dogg is an old man, so maybe he just "forgot" to quote and source his plagiarized material. :-) It's also possible that old dogg is Kirk Johnson, Ph.D. from the Heritage Foundation. If so, burn on you! On topic, I expect the "report" will include a lot of reports of substantial progress along with a lot of optimism and talk about needing more time to meet objectives. It might be something like: [ QUOTE ] The Iraqi security forces are in the fight; they are fighting for their country. They are, as this notes, increasingly leading that fight...But this is the idea. This captures this sense that there is, again, huge momentum in the Iraqi security force development mission. And the key is to keep it moving, keep it headed in the right direction, continue to build the strength and build the capacity of those to support this endeavor, again, from the institutions. [/ QUOTE ] which was said by...General Petraeus... 22 months ago... |

Re: What to expect: The report on Iraq
It'd be a real shocker if Patraeus says "we need to leave now, we have no chance." Imagine if he said that...People in the U.K would be able to hear the united 'gasp' from the USA.
