I know i should have cheked the 2nd one the turn but the hand just before he had "AJ" i figured out there were little chances he had an ace again Advice for next time? Bet flop check fold turn? [/ QUOTE ] The fact that he held certain cards last hand has no bearing on the likelihood that he holds them this hand. This is a pretty basic probability issue. If we flip a coin four times and it comes up heads every time, the chance that it comes up heads on the fifth flip is still 1/2. These both seem like bad spots to double-barrel. C/f would be better unless you had some kind of specific read. If your opponent is very loose after the flop, punish him by value-betting good hands. |
