Variance: I don\'t know what a bad down swing is
I started with $37 around 3 1/2 weeks ago. I have $300 exactly right now after taking a shot at 25NL when I was up to $425. I went back to 10NL (which is a pain obviously) once I dropped to $325. I dropped a few buy ins there too, at 10NL I just didnt have any big hands when it mattered if you know what I mean and I played terribly at 25NL. So is losing 1 quarter of your bankroll a really bad down swing or moderate? Now I know better than to play 25NL with $400.
Had 42 BI's at 10NL, have 30 BI's now. Is that really bad with a shot included? |

*COUGH* move up to where they respect your raises *COUGH*
$400 is a perfect roll for 400NL. |

Got up to $300 something got pissed off played one HU game and lose. Start over, repeat. My self control has improved and I don't have an urge to do that. |

Since all your big shots have failed in the past you're due for this one to be a huge success.
