Default 50 NL - AA on a scary board vs. donk

I'm running 17/14. Villain seems donkish -- he 5-bet all in with JJ for 2.5 buy-ins about 20 hands earlier.

On the turn I was hopeful he'd let me get away cheap; on the river I suddenly had a read that he was FOS (in part because the turn and river didn't complete any draws).

All comments appreciated. Thanks.

your line is ok, although that river raise seems to be small, but i guess it was for value.

Why no turn raise? If he is block betting with a QX, you are letting him off too cheaply.

Yes, raise turn. Lol @ raising a $5 bet on the flop and then only calling a $4 (into $50 pot!!) bet on the turn.

Without your reads: He will have a set very often on this flop given the preflop line. Few villans call a 3bet preflop without at least a medium PP or AK and few villans won't 4bet AA-QQ. So this flop really sucks. If he has AK he only has an inside straight draw, so we have to dodge only a Q. Not worth potecting against is you consider you are probably drawing to 2 outs or in most other cases. I like to raise the flop and shut down to action most of the time.
Since he made this smallish crapbet I definately shove the turn, given your reads, but I fear the worst, namely a set of 9's, T's or J's. Some villains make rediculously small bets with huge hands, either to get raised or from fear you fold to a bigger bet.
