I'm curious whether I should have bet the turn or not. The river is badly played.

Folding the river here is gross.

i would just lead the flop.

it's hard to evaluate the turn since we know it gets checked through, but as played, donking looks reasonable there.

and yeah, wtf river.

PF: I fold this, though if I was opening I would raise too. I'm playing a little tight at the moment and this may be somewhere I could loosen up.

Flop: 10 clean outs to an overpair or straight. Easy call, I think.

Turn: Why not bet? You hit one of your outs, it may or may not be good but you won't find out by checking.

River: I can't understand the fold... if you were confident someone flopped a flush why chase a straight? I'd expect to split the pot with BB who just made a straight and call, hoping for overcalls who'd fold to a raise.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Betting this flop is good, but it's not a significantly better play than checking. You're not too likely to have the best hand, there are tons of draws, and you're OOP.

You've really got to bet this turn to prevent a free card by a diamond, especially after it appears you've turned the best hand.

The river fold isn't very smart.

*grunch

extra blind raise is good preflop.

Flop check sucks bet it and count the callers.

Turn bet it and count the callers, if its raised you are likely beaten here but still drawing enough to call.

River is easy call for a 2 way split or a loss against someone who misplayed their flush.

I think would have checked the flop myself. Yeah, sure, oesd and 2 overs, but the board is just uff.
