Default luck or more luck?

So here's the million dollar question... We all know that you need some kind of luck in any MTT tourney. Now does it take more luck if you're playing a super aggressive style/ aggressive style/ or a fairly tight style. When you're agressive, you might run into a big hand sooner or later, and you need luck sooner. If you're a tight player and wait till you're short stack, you need luck to double up, maybe later down the tourney. Therefore, which style needs less luck to win?

I've been playing like a nit lately. Screw that. Time to lag it up then.
