SB is a 40/14 knucklehead and aggressive post flop.

i push because villian is short. 88 sorta stinks postflop in that it is hard to get a worse hand to pay you. this guy is bad enough to call you with Ax, KXs, or 22.

I don't play this high.

However, the chips you gain from pushing and villain folding don't appear to mean much.

Plus, you have a nice stack compared to the field..

Is playing this for set value wrong? the blinds aren't that high.

He's 40/14 - he would have raised anything that beats us and/or many of the hands we're flipping against.

Good point unless Mike has been aggressive enough that villain thinks he can pull off the old trap limp.

Shoving seems best, most of the time we pick up the 100 chips &amp; other times he calls with some dominated hand.

150. Shoving makes us lose tons of values versus lowerpairs and hands which will check fold tons of flops.
