Default A high call on river?

No real read. He kind of snap called flop, and snap checked. He hasn't been out of line. I felt like he was drawing. I wasn't sure why he would value bet an 8. How often am I good here with A high for that type of weak bet on the river?

We only need to be good 1/4 of the time to call here.

Then make a note of what he calls with on drawy flop, checks behind on turn and half pots river with.

In fact on top of good odds, making a note totally makes this worth it.

I would fold without a read but it's not awful vs some lower stakes players.

Betting the river may be worth considering.

River call is standard. I would only fold against a complete nit who never bluffs.
