saw flop Button ($304.88) SB ($218.89) BB Hero ($200.00) UTG UTG ($200.00) UTG+1 ($183.00) CO ($491.35) Preflop: Hero is in the BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG raises to 8.00, 4 folds, Hero calls 6.00. Flop (17.00) 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, UTG bets 14.00, Hero raises to 56.00, UTG calls 42.00. Turn (129.00) 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero moves all-in for 136.00 Villain is 19/15/3 and I think an overpair is a big part of his range. Thoughts? |

What are you repping? Just the fact that villain sees 4 to a straight?
You're not ever playing 99 like this I'm guessing.. and I dunno what you'd do with 87 here, I guess play it like this? I mean, TT = AA here for villain.. I like that you have outs but you don't really rep much IMO. |

No one b/3b this flop?
I think most people fold a lot here even though the 7 isnt really a scare card. A 4 or 9 is worse. That being said you are repping 2pair/set a lot |

Depends on what level villain is thinking. Your line dosen't make much sense, but the board is so scary that he might actually fold anyways. And ofcourse you have outs if you get called.
I often reraise preflop(always). |

I'd rather raise or fold preflop.
Given the preflop call, i'd like a lead on the flop. After you CR the flop. I'd rather bet 100 on the turn than shove. It just looks stronger than shoving. But depending on how good the villian is is whether or not I decide i'm going to try to bluff him off of a possible/likely overpair. If he seems like a good TAG i'll go for it, but if he's one of your typical loosey goosey calls everything players than i'm probably giving up on it. |

[/ QUOTE ] This isn't my usual line and I'm not very content the way I played it. This is the main reason I posted it. I usually bet/3bet, but I dind't think he will fold the flop. When I C/R the flop I knew I'll push any turn scare card. As you said I'm not representing much, but can he really call with AA on this board? |

[/ QUOTE ] It really depends on the villain and how he thinks of you. He could just be an 'overpair is the nuts' kinda guy and never fold. He might have MUBS and fold instantly. I mean, it's so villain-dependent, but after you raise this flop you have to shove turn. |
