# What does the winner of the World Cup of Poker receive?

The final eight World Cup of Poker teams will win packages – including travel expenses and accommodation - to play in Barcelona, Spain, where they will compete before a live audience. The WCP prize pool ($220,000) will be distributed as follows:

* First prize: $100,000 ($20,000 per team member)
* Second prize: $60,000 ($12,000 per team member)
* Third prize: $40,000 ($8,000 per team member)
* Fourth prize: $20,000 ($4,000 per team member)

All of the above payments are to the entire team, and will be distributed equally among all five team members. For instance, each member of the winning team will receive $20,000.

In addition to the main prizes, all live WCP tables in Barcelona will pay the top 3 finishers:

* First: $5,000 (50% to the player, 50% split among the rest of the team)
* Second: $3,000 (50% to the player, 50% split among the rest of the team)
