Default Question in regards to card randomness

I have a question in regards to card randomness. I was reading a post on this forum sometimes earlier and someone was saying how the online poker sites make drawing cards more likely to to show in order to encourage action to build bigger pots with bigger rakes. Is there any truth to this and if so what is your source for this information? Can the cards be truely random if they do this?
Thanks,
MUD

no truth (at least with major reputable sites). there are endless online poker is rigged threads which is why you'll receive few if any actual responses (other than "ban") to a question like this.

A computer can never give out true random numbers.

Neither can humans. Computers can do much better than humans. A computer using physical sources can do as well as it's possible to do.

I really don't get why you would say this. Aren't we comparing live dealing and shuffling of cards compared to a computer simulating the dealing and shuffling?

Yes. Computers can (and do) randomize a deck more effectively and consistently. Though I'm sure many people believe the opposite, they're wrong. This is not really disputable.

For the people with the hostile replies: I was not trying to insinuate that online poker is rigged. I know that topic has been talked about on here before. The only reason why I asked this question was due to seeing someone on these forums state this very matter of factly and no one seemed to disagree with him.

Most people defend the sites because they aren't rigged. Sites like Absolute don't get many people sticking up for them because they are so rigged.

there is no truth to the rumour; there is no source for the information.

it is mostly propogated by idiots who are unable to process random events in their head.
