Gettin the Dell 30\" monitor, some basic questions.
well, my PC just [censored] died out of the blue so I went to best buy and just bought this piece of crap Computer and you can see all of it's features there. I needed it to support dual monitors and the guy at best buy told me to buy this video card and got my dual samsungs running. I would like to upgrade one of the monitors to the Dell 30". Would it be compatable? Also would I would be able to connect and a samsung 204BW to the video card at the same time? The computer came with a video output but it turned it off when I installed the new video card. so my question is
1. Will my current setup support the Dell 30"? 2. Will my current setup be able to support a second monitor (Samsung 204B)? Or do I need to buy a second video card to install? If so, could someone find one that my computer supports ?(specs are up there) (i already have the 8500 installed) (cheap is +, i do not care about pc gaming at all) thank you for any help. |

If it supports the appropriate interfaces, it'll support those monitors.

Re: Gettin the Dell 30\" monitor, some basic questions.
Yeah, if both monitors have dvi inputs, you'll need a card that supports dual monitors and has 2 dvi outputs. I'm horribly behind on the times, but it seems like some companies may have started adding dual output functionality in their drivers.
That, or I hallucinated the whole thing. |
