Obviously the answer to this question depends on the country you are going to.

No you won't be able to. Your account will still only be able to have a USA address.

Re: going to army, party available overseas?
Like one user said, depends on what country. You should be ok though because where ever you are, you mostly won't be on a server registered in the U.S. If you're deployed overseas you'll more than likely be using a server hooked up through Germany. This was the case when I was in Afghanistan and I played on Party in the MWR tent.

Re: going to army, party available overseas?
Yes, with a couple of caveats:
1. You'll probably have to register with a non-US address, and may have to fund the account via a non-US source. Think about how you're going to withdraw, especially if you get reassigned with short notice. 2. The local command might have a policy on internet gambling, and don't even think about playing over a government network and absolutely not on a government computer. A lot of guys go in on a satellite internet rig (or buy a pre-exising one from the unit they're replacing), plus you can connect in the MWR tent as mentioned above (count on a long line). Now would be a good time to buy a very good, rugged laptop, and talk to some veterans about how to protect it from sand (electrical tape over ALL the ports and seams when not running, double zip-lock bag it, case it, then put the case in an outer plastic bag when transporting) 3. That said, the larger LSAs in Iraq have very active command-sanctioned poker tournaments, there being few other vices available. 4. He said Army, not Navy like the guy Jaminbird posted. |
