Questions about some hands I played at the Orleans

I was playing 2-4 at the Orleans and theses 2 hands bothered me. Tell me what you think of these plays.

First hand:
Loose maniac calls the blinds and its folded around to me.
Im in mid postion and raise it up to 12$ with pocket JJ's. Loose maniac calls . He's in almost every hand and bets out a lot.

The flop comes 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He bets 20$ and I raise him to 50%.

He calls my bet.

4th brings the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Now he checks to me. It alarmed me a little, his sudden check.

I checked behind and the river brought 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He now bets out 110$ dollars into the pot.

I folded. What do you think????



Next hand.
Im 1 from under the gun. I get dealt KK. An old man who is extremly tight raises it up to 15$ and I repop him to 30$ and get a caller from mid postion and the old man calls my bet, letting me know he dont have AA.

Flop comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

The old man moves all in for 300$ more.

What should I have done???

hand 1: you gave your opponent a card to represent by checking turn: now call!!!

hand 2: he open shoves??? i dont really think this is QQ. I think AA is part of his range here. but I think you should probably call.

#1: you have to call that on the river for sure

#2: I think I call but I'm not extremelly happy about it. You obviously need to reraise more preflop. You need to make people pay to flop monsters on your kings.
