Re: 50nl w/ QQ
Gah. I had a long response, but deleted it. I really don't know. I guess since we have the Q diamonds, we can maybe make this call. A read would be really helpful here. But I really hate calling the minraise on flop. I don't like either of the other options, but I think I view calling as the worst. Usually I'll just come over the top, because I'm in love with my overpair and have the backdoor flush draw.
Turn card completes a ton of draws. I'm torn between folding and shoving. |

Re: 50nl w/ QQ
This is pretty much a flip if you think that he can do this with JJ TT.
Board: 9d 5h 8d 6d Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 49.120% 46.92% 02.20% 640 30.00 { QdQs } Hand 1: 50.880% 48.68% 02.20% 664 30.00 { JJ-88, 55, AdTd, KdJd, JdTd, Td7d, 98s, 76s } if not, you're in trouble Board: 9d 5h 8d 6d Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 22.727% 20.22% 02.51% 169 21.00 { QdQs } Hand 1: 77.273% 74.76% 02.51% 625 21.00 { 99-88, 55, AdTd, KdJd, JdTd, Td7d, 98s, 76s } I think that's basically what it comes down to. Without a good read, I tend towards folding to be honest, because the flop was multiway and SB has something he's willing to felt. |

Re: 50nl w/ QQ
Why did you just call his min-raise?

Re: 50nl w/ QQ
I don't think you are ahead often enough to call turn bet. If you are, you will get his money soon. What was your plan when you called the flop raise?

Re: 50nl w/ QQ
easy fold. Do not shove the flop, you will let him play perfectly, and most of the time youd rather be a huge dog or slightly ahead.
This is one situation, in which I think min3betting the flop is the best play, just as a sort of "probe raise". If he shoves we have an easy fold, if he calls, we reevaluate with a much better read the turn. I got to say I absolutely hate minbets, but this time it seems to be the best line. |

I tought about shoving the flop. So many draws out there.
As played I fold. |
