Default I try a 3barrel bluff deep

Villain is preposterous, a good LAG like 30/20 or something. He's been running horrible this session and not playing too well. I've seen him attempt some big bluffs and fail. I think this might increase his calling range preflop, but I'm not sure if it makes him more apt to call postflop as well. UTG is very tight 16/12. I think this means that prep wont 3bet JJ and prob won't 3bet QQ either. I think this is important.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

BB ($404.05)
UTG ($622.45)
MP ($1339.25)
CO ($660)
Button ($635)
Hero ($1537.50)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $24</font>, MP calls $24, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $120</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG folds, MP calls $96.

Flop: ($270) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $172</font>, MP calls $172.

Turn: ($614) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $418</font>, MP calls $418.

River: ($1450) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $827.5 (All-In)</font>

He has to call ~$620 I believe.

I think if you are doing this you should bet like $300 on the turn which looks more like a value bet, and so the river shove is bigger

I hate this, you really have to have one of those specific notes on him that I make for people:

"called turn and folded river to shove (with likely made hand) getting great odds"

usually reserved for very strong handreaders.

The sizing is just kinda gross, but then again he shouldn't expect you to bluff 600 into a million... this is kinda a level game but I think C/F&gt;C/C&gt;&gt;&gt;All-in and very close.

Ok lets say I bet $300 on the turn instead of $418. That makes my river shove $730 into $1300. Do you like it more then?

I mean he's gonna have a tough time calling here without TT or an 88 that decided to float, right?

Given description looks like he'll call with JJ or Tx here. I think the commitment decision was made on the turn, and shoving this river has a pretty poor expectation.

Agreed, TT/88/AA are a big part of his range IMO.

think we can discount AA if hes good, but yeah, TT and 88 look pretty likely.
