Yeah, I think betting the turn is better. I just tend to go into check call/check raise mode when I'm oop.

i think betting the turn is bad, the most prominent hands in his turn calling range are aces that beat you. check/raising is a bluff against AQ/AJ and worse aces which may or may not fold, if they do its hugely +EV for you.
