Default 2/4 - I feel a bit like a retard posting this (minraising involved)

Villain is 22/14/2.5 over 1000 hands. He is not 3-betting me so much that I've noticed it.

This is not something I usually do, but I'm trying to stack off less with small overpairs vs big overpairs without giving up too much value. Here, I figured that he Cbets most of his hands, but that he has to let go anything that's not JJ+ to my minraise. Does this look full of [censored]? Is it just stupid? Should I just call flop? Bet out? Fold pre?

(Yes you are right, I only played it like this because I hate it when they do this and I have AK)

folding pre is best

you are usually crushed by 22/14/2 3-betting range and you are oop

as played I would call flop and count on him not firing again with anything you beat

So you're trying to fold out all the hands you beat...

Yeah, that's what I usually do. It's just that I hate trying to get to showdown OOP with this hand. I mean, if he's halfway decent, he'll realise that all he has to do to take this away is just bet one more time.

Folding pre on the other hand seemed so weak that I didn't wanna consider it. I mean, if a typical range is so narrow here, shouldn't I be calling just to hit a set?

pretty sure he RR too much to give you direct odds

also, it's not like this is only AA/KK

I'd give him the TT+/AK range

It's not like you are going to stack him ALWAYS when you hit your set against that range

Is it too optimistic to try to stack JJ+ and fold out AK?

talking about pf now?
i think the pf call is totally fine, it gets close with 77/88 imo. flopplay, however, is pretty awful.
