Default NL200 vs solid regular

I have KJo in the hijack and raise to 11 after a couple of limpers, and one dead posted blind.

Only the small blind calls, pot $30.

Flop Q9x with 2 spades. He check calls my $20 continuation bet, pot $70.

Turn J. check-check. I check the turn here with alot of made hands and also my draws and bluffs, so it shouldn't mean much.

River x, no flush hits. He donk bets $20 into $67(after rake).

Can I call here, hoping he is on a missed flush or TJ?

I felt like I was dead and he was trying to extract some value out of me, and if he was going to bluff he would have bet more.

Do you really think JT is even in his range here? I think he take this line with 88-x and JJ-TT fairly often. Maybe something like KQ as well. I think a FD is a fairly small part of his range as he is probably not calling a big raise OOP with them. Even if he is, he isn't bluffing them all the time so that adds up to a low bluff percentage. I think you can let it go.

What about betting the turn? I don't think he can call with a lot of TP hands and MP there and you get some value from FD's. It really would be kind of in the gray area of value-betting and semi-bluffing.

i call here. the check on the turn means you have AK, and he's betting 9's for value.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't understand this. If he actually thinks we have AK why is his bet for value? AK can never ever call on this board w/o a vg read. Also if he knows that we have AK shouldn't he check anyways even if he knows he has the best hand on this board regardless of his cards?

I made a big mistake in my OP.

The river was an 8. So any Tx hand beats me as well.

That 9's have to be in his range. What 9 is in his range bets 99?
