NL200 2pairs, against aggro
Vilain has been fairly aggro so far from the button raising 90% hands and CBETTING 100% but is a little tighter on the BB..
Is this an easy call or easy fold, I dont really know where I stand here I cover Vilain Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 2 players Converter Pre-flop: (2 players) Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero raises to $8, BB calls. Re: NL200 2pairs, against aggro
I'm calling this. The q hitting doesn't complete any draws villain could realistically have, unless you know he likes calling 2 streets with a gutshot + one overcard. I doubt he has KQ because we woulld have heard from him earlier. If he did this with kt/k7/89 great, but I think you'll see weaker 2pr hands and busted diamonds at least as much, if not more than a hand that beats you.

Re: NL200 2pairs, against aggro
Don't forget about J9, which might be the first hand I put him on, and then I would put him on lower two pairs, maybe QT or 76. He could also have KT,K7, or KQ, but I think we're hearing from KT or K7 earlier. He could also be putting out a random bluff which is always a possibility when people donk on any street.
You're ahead here enough to call. |

Re: NL200 2pairs, against aggro
I'm going to fold this. I call in this spot a lot, and I just don't get shown worse hands enough for it to be profitable. Not sure what villain is thinking though.

LJ,
Are you only being shown J9 here? That's the only hand I can put villain on that beats us other than some weirdo set. |

This is a call, but it is a very unreadable line. Tough spot. Call, based on your card strength.

Re: NL200 2pairs, against aggro
With the stack to pot ratio almost 1:1 at the end I can definitely see him using this as an opportunity to bluff some of the time. Also, there are a bunch of lesser 2pr hands he may not want to miss value from. One other thing is I'm not sure why no one has mentioned AJ. I don't see how it can be ruled out of his range completely at this point.
How aggressive has villain been at reraising preflop as well as playing OOP without impetus. Honestly, those patterns are much more important than the fact he raises preflop and cbets a ton. Yugoslav |
