Am I just being coolered here? How often will he have the T, or an overpair or draw? |

Re: 25NL: TPTK on paired board
Any reads on UTG?I mean i guess this hand is pretty much reads dependant. This guys is raising UTG and teorically if he's not a donk ur either splitting or losing this hand.
If he is a normal TAG with like 22/13/2 stats no way ur ahed. Anyway,as played ur obviously pot commited. I think that the right thing is to raise more on the flop.I doubt this guys is doing this with QK.If he's not regular/tag he could. But the problem is that if he is a donk/lag ecc he could easily have a ten.I think that u either check behind on the turn and give him the free card if he's drawing or u do as played. Re: 25NL: TPTK on paired board
Villain is 49/10 over 200 hands and seemed very donkish and call-stationy. I believed I was well ahead of his range here.

Re: 25NL: TPTK on paired board
When Villain raises preflop and then checks and cold-calls the flop, alarm bells start going off in my head and I'm thinking monster. For some players, flopping trips or better automatically places them in slowplay mode, and I guess it makes them feel more clever about it if they're immediately slowplaying after raising preflop.
However, in this case AK and AJ do seem possible, along with, say, Ac5c. But the turn checkraise is not exactly shocking. I think you're kind of committed by that point, though. |

Re: 25NL: TPTK on paired board
I would check behind on turn because UTG def. has something, and Id rather not shove a villain with that line.

Re: 25NL: TPTK on paired board
Definitely check on the turn. You committed yourself with your turn bet, and you really didn't want to (i.e. you are losing a lot when all the money gets in here).
