I will sometimes check the turn with hands like this but betting is fine.
I'd usually call the river because it is possible he rivered 2 pair or a set or maybe even a straight but that might be missing out on some value from other AX hands that might call a raise. I think I like calling the river a little better because I'm somewhat cautious in the early levels. |

On a dry board like that I tend to check behind on the turn to keep the pot small. Makes it easier to call a river bet (since that will be smaller assuming Villain is betting in proportion to the pot).

Opinions on limping AQo pf here? I like it because
- it let's Ax and Qx see a flop - chance to flop a pretty well concealed TPTK or TPGK - taking down the blinds is obv not worth a lot |

I raise AQo 100% of the time in this spot for the following reasons: - If you get called and miss the flop, you can take the pot down with a c-bet - If you get called and hit the flop, if the caller has KQ or AJ you can be the beneficiary of their reverse implied odds - If you limp and the three remaining players to act also limp, the chance of running into some crazy BB/SB special is greater. |
