Beat Online Blackjack

Hi everyone,

My friend is convinced that he can beat online black jack... Of course, I think he is wrong and the house will always have a 0.5% advantage. Am I right or is it really possible to beat ONLINE blackjack. I know it is possible to have a 0.5% edge in live poker, but not online... In fact, I don't believe there is anyway of beating any online gambling game that is against the house (of course, poker is not against the house).

why would he beat bj online but not offline?

offline should even be easier because u can count cards.
