Villain most likely has a very strong hand and played it very poorly

I refuse to believe that a nit would slowplay a set on this flop. But its also very unlikely that he is betting his draw. I probably fold first time, but its a big WTF spot.

ps Actually I think AQ fits the profile.

Yeah I agree, I don't see him having a set but he definitely has you beat.

This would be a good spot to take a note and watch villain so you have more information the next time you are in a hand

I think 33 is most likely and he played it poorly, his aggression stats are low so I can see him smooth calling with a set here, as for the turn donkbet, there's no way a nit is doing this on a draw.

yeah 33 or AQ are most likely. not sure about this but with a low vpip and low agro numbers this guy is prob very passive post flop no?

Why would he have to have a monster? I think this is a relatively good line from villain if he knows you're very aggressive and he has a weakish Qx/strong Tx hand. He waits until the turn to donk because his equity went up when the turn blanked, and he's picked up the almost automatic cbet. He doesn't figure to make much more than one to two streets of value from his hand, and oop this is the easy way to play it. Someone with 10/8 stats is looking for easy ways to play.

If you raise, then he can reconsider. It would take a strong hand for you to raise, obviously.

I use this line from time to time.
