Default $4/180 ITM, Help w/ bet sizing

Villain had been active and was pretty much out playing me whenever we got involved in a hand together. So far I haven’t seen him do anything out of line other than he liked to make big over bets if he sensed weakness.

Help me with my pre-flop line. How should I approach this OOP? I made a large reraise thinking I needed to compensate for my position. Is this thinking correct, or should I try to keep the pot smaller OOP?

Post flop? Now what? I got myself into a bad spot, first to act, in a huge pot with ace high. blah.
