Big draw in bb, nl25, what to do?
Just sat down at this table, no read.
Should I reraise the flop? maybe raise more at the turn?, as played, do you call the river bet? I seem to run into this plenty in the last couple of days. Re: Big draw in bb, nl25, what to do?
You should be pushing this river instead of checking. I raise more on the turn for sure, probably up to $11 or $12. As played, obvious river call.

Re: Big draw in bb, nl25, what to do?
Reraise flop (if reraised again - push - you have the better hand pretty much independently of what he has on flop), bet turn once hit, bet river - get all the value you can from your hand.
As played, if you're not betting because you want to induce a bluff or a bet from a weaker hand, obviously c/c. I don't think you can fold to that bet just because you're scared of a full house. You beat trips, a lower straight or a busted FD, so you're good. |

Re: Big draw in bb, nl25, what to do?
The way villain played this hand looks to me like he believes you're on a flush draw and put you all in on the river thinking you missed. I think this is an easy call. The reasoning behind my line is the min raise on the flop and the call on the turn. He might have something like AT-KT and think his TTT is good.

Re: Big draw in bb, nl25, what to do?
This was just one of those 10 hands I played during lunch break and I hate to think when I'm playing those. I think I should have raised more at the turn as soon as I hit that raise button.
As played, my main question is, is there ever any value in betting the river at this level? Sets just boat up, only trips will call me and everything else will fold to my bet, right? |

Re: Big draw in bb, nl25, what to do?
Check-folding isn't an option on this river. Your only concern on the river is to check/call, check/raise if villain doesn't go all in, or to open shove yourself. Since you've already checked, thank your lucky stars that villain didn't check behind and then instacall.
Also put in a healthy three bet on the flop. |

Try to get the money in on the flop, as played insta call you're way ahead of his range, I expect to see AT KT here.
