depends on your read. I only do this against tight players as I don't like raising for 20% of my stack and not having a good feeling they are going to fold.

i would venture to guess the tables pretty tight wouldnt you kibby 8 handed at 50/100, barley any chip fluctuation. i think this raise is oke. as long as you haven't habitually done it on the button or from the cut off

[/ QUOTE ]meh, who knows. I don't go off of stack sizes to judge aggressiveness but I would guess statistically you have a point. You should have read on your ops by this stage. Use pokertracker or whatever.

yea i dont have pokertracker yet, but im just using the ball park figure of number of players, blinds and stack sizes to kinda get a feel for the table. not saying its 100% correct just think its an ok baseline

I personally would fold this here. Whenever I make moves like this I find that when I get called I end up bluffing off my whole stack.

In any case, sometimes limp/min-betting the flop can be effective as well.

limping marginal hands in this position is bad especially with 13bb`s raise or fold, read dependant. as played on that flop nh
