External Harddrive, PT what files can I move over?

I have some PT files in my temp folder, listed as PTbackup or something like that..sorry at work now. Can I move these over to my external hard drive? Also, my C;drive is only 12.5GB and at capacity, what other type files is okay to move over? Photos and music is what my plan is right now.

Also-side question, IS there a way to start a new PT database but save all the old information for PAH?
