Default $60 L5 TT , cover your eyes for turn, thin value bet on river?

villian seemed pretty passive (stats wise), not real agressive. so i was making the assumption on the turn that he would not come over the top of me with a worse hand. so i made a silly turn bet. how bad was that?

but now i am to the river. time to extract a few chips or just check behind?

I'm checking behind here. He's had too many cards he could have hit that put him ahead. I like the line too.

I check behind. He could be getting fancy with a flush, have a weak K or even have hit that 8.

Betting the turn looks OK given that he's most likely to still have a draw/underpair, but I don't think it's worth betting less than half pot.

His range is what - Ad7d/AdXd/Ad7x/Ad6x, Ad8x, maybe a bare 7, 55-99, AK with or without a dime (probably without), TJ (possibly with a dime, probably not suited in dimes) - etc, depending on how loose he calls preflop. T7/57 seem unlikely given preflop - but what's his range for the preflop call?

You bet the turn really weakly, so if he was looking for value with a better hand I might expect him to bet the river because you don't look like you're planning to. That depends on him and his view of you though - it's not clear from your descrip that he thinks that much.

I'd sometimes bet this river if he's passive but not trappy. If he's tight post flop, the 3rd diamond on the turn may have slowed him up a bit, so a check behind might be more prudent.

Cliff notes: read dependent.

I'm checking behind. The villain showed a lot of strenght by calling down your bets all the way to the river on the flushing board so I can't imagine him folding his hand right now. And whatever he's holding it's stronger than your tens.

I don't like the turn. Flush and over card came. Take the free card. As played I like a river check. If he's as passive as you think he could be check calling a better hand.

I'm not a fan of donking the turn like that. I'd rather check the turn and call the river. As played, I'd check behind, that's a real thin value bet and getting pushed off your hand would be gross.
