Default Figuring out your equity in omaha hands. Any shortcuts?

Is there any simple math that you can use to figure your equity in omaha? Hold em has the 4/2 concept but what works for Omaha?
Any simple math?

I'd answer, but I'm too distracted by Bill Cosby's bobbing head.

There's no easy method to figure your equity postflop. You may want to go to twodimes.net to get a general feel for any given hand's equity.

Otherwise, figure out your legit outs for high, do the 2/4 stuff, but divide that by 2 since it's for half the pot. Then if you've got nut low draw, figure out how many cards make the low and do the 2/4 stuff. If you've got counterfeit protection that still gives you the low, adjust upwards. If you can be counterfeited, or your low is really obvious (A2, A3) adjust downwards.

Or if you are particularly lazy, use the square of the high. (EG 0.30 * 0.30) to determine your overall equity.

I'd agree with the above:

"You may want to go to twodimes.net to get a general feel for any given hand's equity."

Just do that any time you're unsure, and after a while you'll start to get a good feel for what beats what and by how much.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot. What's the 2/4 concept?

Counting outs in a hold'em hand. If you've got two cards to come, multiply the outs by 4 to get the rough percentage. One card to come, multiply by 2. It's hand grenade math.
