Default Gamble time? 5/10 live

5/10 live at greektown must move 5 handed. UTG has been gambling it up like crazy and has $125 in front of him.
Before the cards are dealt, he shoves his stack in, laughs, and then leaves just a $25 straddle in. Seems like he'll be pushing blind almost always, and probably calling all in with most hands.

I get AKT4 with one T high flush draw in the CO. I have $900, everyone else (other then the straddler covers). What kind of plan do you like? I thought about calling and isoshoving, making it $50 getting greedy with the dead money and hoping to iso shove, making it $100 and trying to get it heads up, and eventually i just said "meh" and folded. Everyone else called, then called the extra $100, and it got checked down (only because no one flopped anything good, no collusion or anything).

I dunno it just didnt seem like a great spot, but maybe i should have found a way to gamble it up more in this spot? If you want to gamble, post the "worst" hand you would make a play with.

dont know much about 'live dynamics' or that level of blinds, but folding pre seems to be a good idea

nah, they probably won't fold so you'll just end up 3 or 4 way in a big pot with a mediocre hand. I probably just fold, if I'm stuck I make it 50 and repop when it comes back to me.

Fold Pre, you aren't ahead of really anything and are in really bad shape if someone wakes up with AAxx. There are definitely better spots to play a big pot preflop.

I would definitely fold that one. You're also playing pretty short for a live 5/10 of that sort.

As to your question, the worst hand I'd call with is probably 2467ss with the suit to the 7. You're getting over 1/10 of your stack in PF. I see no reason not to be tight here and play with good hands. I also see no reason to hammer anything PF, although with like a super AAds it might be tempting, as it sounds like you'd be able to shove it all in with that action. Even then, however, I usually prefer just to see the flop and take it from there. You're getting great odds on any strong hand.
