Default hourly fee\'s vs rake ?????

i play mostly in niagara falls, and there is casino niagara, and the fallsview. the fallsview spreads great games but has a 5 dollar fee on the half hour, while the niagara has an average rake. this being the 1/2 tables.

just wondering peoples opinions, what would cost more in the long run?

There are previous threads discussing this, but it depends on how many hands you expect to win per half hour. More decent sized pots time is better.

Im no expert i might be wrong, but if you are a very tight player who plays few hands everyhalf, why not offer to put up a time pot?? this means every half u put up everyones time(50 dollars for a full table). The first 2 pots over 120 dollars u take back 25 out of each pot. when i play in rooms that take time i offer this is i foresee my play being very tight, just another option
