Just wanted to say thank you to all the posters on the HU forum. I have been reading threads most of the past few days and my game has improved. Not a whole lot of changes, merely thinking about the game in different lights.

I started playing a lot of heads up a few months ago to build my Stars roll as I didnt want to risk the variance in full ring sngs. I really liked playing them and I was having some success.

On the way home from work I began to realize I needed to take heads up more seriously if I wanted to jump levels. (I currently roam the $6 and $11) but in the future I want to be playing the top games. Therefore I want to be properly rolled and have my game well equipped for a jump to the $22.

Today I started a little challenge for myself to play 100 $6 heads up matches in the next 10 days or so. Just to see how good I can get. (I used to jump from sngs to cash to tourneys) But if I stick solely to HU sngs, I think I can get pretty good.

Thus far I am ten wins and one loss, hopefully this can keep up. (I am aiming for 80 wins based on my performance at this level in the past)

I get it now....didnt mean it as a brag post, merely to say thanks and that reading people's posts have helped my game as evidenced by todays session.

I will stop posting results if it is some cardinal rule or something

Indy means to say you are very unlikely to win 80/100 matches as in the long run it is impossible to maintain an 80% winrate.

The $6 heads up matches are very weak. I have been playing them a lot the past few months and I have had sessions lasting 20-25 games with over 80% success rates.

I realise this is a lofty goal but I truly think it is attainable.

I understand you dont think I can do it. But the fact is...I think I can.

As for 1000 games. I dont want to play 1000 games. I am playing 100. I will update this thread as I keep playing. Chances are I wont make 80% fair enough. But I will try damn hard.

Keep aiming at 80% but don't get disappointed if you end up at ~60%. That's still good.
