$50, TPTK + NFD. OK to slowplay?
Is it OK to slowplay the flop here? I called the flop hoping the BB, who was very bad, would come along for the ride with a worse flush draw. I had no read on the CO. Is pushing the turn standard?

Please raise this flop. Your hand isn't strong enough to slowplay.

Definitely raise the turn - $10 looks about right. CO will have less than a PSB left if he calls and you can easily put the rest in on the turn.

Re: $50, TPTK + NFD. OK to slowplay?
Slowplaying the flush draw is pretty worthless because another heart is going to be an action killer unless he has the Kh or goes retarded with the Th or something stickdude, I assume you mean raise the flop? CO probably is really strong, the limp is a pocket pair or suited connectors a lot of the time, and since he led the flop and turn he probably hit. I highly doubt you are ahead of him when he bets into you twice on that board, so you are getting all in on a draw on the turn and getting called almost every time, and hopefully you are drawing to 9 outs. |

Raise flop. As played, turn bet i think means strength and you're not getting called unless you're beat or CO is retarded and is overplaying KJ, QJ.

I see people doing this alot, and I'm not a fan of it.
Once the 4-flush comes, your implied odds tank unless the guy is holding kh and is willing to go to town. This isn't the same as holding AJh on a jhh board. It needs to be played faster imo. |

I normally just raise on the flop. Although I think you are only getting called by hands that beat you. In that case you have the nut draw to save you.
