Default whats ur play?

villain - 29/17/2 ~ 67 hands, seems standard so far hasn't called down with any rubbish (even tho his W2SD is 42), he seems to be playing well atm

Full Tilt 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP raises, 3 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero?

Don't c/r, he'll call down light on this board.

Folding is fine, but I peel with the BD outs. An interesting question is if we peel, what turns are we semibluffing?

I don't like semi-bluffing with a flush re-draw tho I think that's a little transparent these days, & against this guy prolly wouldn't work. I do think there could be an argument against someone weak tho for it.

I agree. Also I think something like a ten is a bad card to semibluff if he's aware.

If he knows how I play there isn't much I can rep with the 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], it's unlikely to hit a hand I'd peel the flop with, and I would check/raise the flop with trips because I expect him to calldown light. Still, I would probably give it a shot since hopefully he doesn't know how I play.

i don't get why you guys want to peel this flop, *especially* since the next five replies are laying out why we have little fold equity against this opponent. perhaps you think 8-high is good? even if all 6 pair outs are good, we're looking at an rio situation in a small pot.

i would let this go and wait for a better spot.

I think you are really kind of ham strung here. A check raise you really only get one shot with no overcards and villain would have to be able to fold to it on the flop because I don't think we really want to put in a c bet on an UI turn here??? Do we??

I can't find a call.

IMO we fold here.

You don't have odds to peel, so I would rather c/r bluff. but my main choices are (without relative emphasis) c/f > c/r I don't really like c/c.
