The spot I hate most in LHE(BVB)

Villain is 35/18/1.7 lag. Ive seen him semibluff the flop a few times, but nothing out of the ordinary so far. Can I do anything but fold in this spot?

I think folding is fine here but its close. If there wasnt a fd or if you had a bdfd I think its a peel.

I fold here until I'm in his head more. "nothing out of the ordinary" means he probably caught more than you.

why is this? doesn't the FD leave more combinations of hands that you beat?

Good point I guess. But it also increases the value of the backdooor straight draw and the pair outs. But yeah, with a fd there are more semibluffing hands in his range.
