UTG is pretty bad and has limped in early position a few times, showing down TT and QJo. Fold here ok?

reads would be sexy time here. I probably limp it as we can afford to see a cheap flop and go from there we have like 19 bbs and it would be ghey to get instacalled by AA/KK.

Easy fold. You shouldn't be limping with 19x, you don't have much room postflop to work with & you could still end up getting trapped if he has a big hand.

yeah this falls into the category where the blinds are too big to limp, your stack is too big to push, and that's all there is to it.

Fold is good though I would probably shove over someone who hadn't been showing down multiple strong hands that he limped preflop.

just caue you have a buncha bbs doesnt mean they do. i probly shove here, everyone has to fold a bunch and even if they call you have a decent hand and have extra chips if you lose

Limping too is bad.

How is raising vs pushing?

I noticed loads of fish tend to fold to a raise after limping in early position.

I actually think that anyone bad enough to limp a mediocre hand utg here will happily call a 3x raise. Then I'm just building a massive pot with a mediocre hand and I won't know where I am. I think folding is the best option.

Why not call for set value? How much will our stack has to be to call here? How much villain's should be?

Limping for set value is bad for 2 reasons:

1) you only make it out if you stack villain since you will have to make at least 1200, so if villain is limping rubbish and you hit he will never pay you.

2) Your position is bad and some of the medium/short stack can decide to push with so much money in the pot already and you definitely have to fold.
