hero folds preflop. Well once you raised to 16 bucks you cant really fold. That said I dont think raising with bottom set is very productive here because you only scare off KKxx. OOP is tough to play, but I would occasionally try call/bet here because if villian has AAxx then betting any straight turn card gives him bad odds to call turn. Against a made straight on the turn you have 9 or 10 fh outs plus possible flush outs which allows you to call raise.

Fold preflop.
Lead the flop, maybe 3/4 pot. CR line folds out almost all worse hands and gets shoved on by all better hands. As played, obviously you can't fold for the remaining $10.55. |

Yeah folding preflop here is a must. Winning omaha players play really tightly out of the blinds and to avoid hands that really only have small pairs working for them. A lot of money in omaha is won or lost in set over set situations.
On the flop you got to go with your read. Lead into him if he raises decide if he would raise here with a hand like A-K-J-10, however I probably fold to his raise. |
