Default .25/.50 FH facing river shove

Villain is 80/10 over 10 hands ... then this. Is this a zeebo call or an easy fold?

I "know" if I am playing this hand I generally raise pre if I play it at all ... just wanted to see a cheap flop. sue me

Also the call of the turn bet was probably a lame attempt at pot control. Showed a weakness there I don't normally show.

Yell at me if you want ... I'm sure it made a difference and possibly caused the shove.

The more I write the more I hate the way I played it ... but do I call here?

I'm finding this one hard to understand. That turn bet is just weird then to follow it up with a river shove is even weirder. Given those PT stats, I'm inclined to suspect a very bad player holding a 6, quite possibly 67, who thinks he's being tricky on the turn and has panicked a bit when he's nailed quads on the river (was it an insta shove by any chance?)

Any road, I doubt I'd be calling that river bet.

Yeah raise pre ... I run at about 16/13 so that is my normal play ... was mixing it up a little here, but you are right.

Probably should have raised the turn.

On the river, how can you fold? there's one six in the deck, two jacks (1 combo of JJ), and QQ+ are raised normally. Sure you MIGHT be beat, but against a 25NL player i've seen for only 10 hands, you got to call. You'll probably see an ace quite often.

If you're beat, oh well, his stupid extraction method worked this time. Note how he played it and reload.

Edit: whoops its 50NL, well I don't know I don't play 50NL, but the player seems bad in one way or another so i'd probably call if it were me.

I think PF is fine.

I think calling the turn is the right play. You are WA/WB. His call on the flop should scare you, as there's not much for him to call with. A middle pair probably calls, but it isn't putting too much more in. A raise indicates you really do have a jack and middle pairs will probably fold. Calling the turn might get value on the river.

On the river- well, this looks like a turned full house to me. I don't know- you are getting terrible odds here. I probably fold- you aren't beating much except for a bluff, though you might be splitting.

True. I guess since you don't have much money invested you COULD let this go. You do have to be right pretty close to 50% to break even.

He seems like a bad player, maybe you will have a better spot to take his money where you are more sure of where you're at.

Close decision. This is a limped pot (mistake on your part) so a guy like this can have anything. 77/6x suited, etc, very possible. Considering how bad your opponent is, I wouldn't fault a call here.

Raise preflop as mentioned.
