Is it correct to overcall here on every street - getting correct odds? Or should I be scared of the Button?

May I give you some further information? My image should be rather tight (though MY image is not really important here). MP1 was fairly active, had shown down few hands though. Nothing special. Button was tight as well, playing few hands, he seemed to be more passive.

=> Independent from the fact if I lost / won this hand, was my overcall correct here? Should I have been worried about Button´s calldown? Should I have been scared by the possibility of a higher flush or even a FH? Would a shove (on the flop?) have been better - as a call obviously nearly commits me to the pot anyway when I plan to call another turnbet?

Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Tackleberry.

You have too short stack to call all the way. Fold or shove on the flop. Because what do you do if you miss the flush on the river ? You would have have lost 2/3 of your stack trying to catch that last club. Better to shove and hope both fold.

It always dangerous to draw to a flush with a paired board. The fact that the button is tight is an indication to caution - or fast action to get the button to fold. So fold or push are my preferred options.

Your image is important for your actions on the flop. If you are considered a TAG a shove would probably get the others to fold their hands. Well except for any player with 55 or 99.

Would you have pushed the flop in my situation - given my tight image? I thought about it, but came to the conclusion that this would have made my hand pretty obvious. Anyway I decided on the flop (!) to commit my whole stack - I just was not sure if I should have just jammed or if it had been better to wait ...

But if I hadn't, I'd fold the turn assuming that I was drawing dead to a boat, bigger clubs, never folding an ace and finding it really difficult to get paid by a worse hand after check-calling two streets on a club river.

Isn't this a perfect situation/hand/stack size to squeeze/resteal?
