Default Question on overall sng 1 table strategy

Not really a "n00b", but just frustrated

Obviously you all know the "tight early, crazy-aggressive late" strategy, but it seems like everyone does that, and winning is pretty much a coin flip. With that said, what to do to counter that? I mean, every book says something like "to win in the long run you gotta play with (previously mentioned) strategy". Well whateve dude, at best I hang around or less than the rake. After playing quite a bit, I've noticed I have a decent table feel, is the super aggressive strategy suitable for sng (like playing every hand)? Like I used it not too long ago, and did fairly well, until I got too aggressive, but it was just one sample so whateve. I have a decent feel for what push people over the edge and fold, big problems for me are being too committed to a hand and being WAY too aggressive.

So basically I'm wanting to take the luck out of sng and use my strength and control things. Is this successful?

Like seriously, every book says to play the previous strategy, and I'm just not buying it. The people good at poker can't just be counting on that bs luck.
