Default Annoying Awkward stack size/Bluff type situation

I dunno if this kind of situation comes up a lot, but take a look anyhow

Villian is running at 47/11/2.2 over 36 hands, which doesnt really mean much. I had just joined the table for 3-4 hands

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP2 ($429.75)
MP3 ($201.45)
CO ($150)
Hero ($202.15)
SB ($281.40)
BB ($261.10)
UTG ($198.60)
UTG+1 ($233.95)
MP1 ($226.25)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, MP3 calls $2, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $6</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $22</font>, SB calls $21, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP3 folds, CO folds.

Flop: ($54) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $36</font>, SB calls $36.

Turn: ($126) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero ???

The cold call confused the crap out of me. I know flop I should have bet more. But even if I bet like 48 and he called, do I just shove turn? Or check fold? He pretty much snap called the rr preflop, which smells of a hand thats strong but not good enough to rr? I was thinking JJ or AQ, whats a good turn action here?

Check the flop, check the turn.

are you saying check call flop and check turN?

hypothetically if the caller of our rr was the original raiser and it was checked to us, we would be betting on this flop right?

How can you check call the flop, you're in position.

Try to get to showdown. I like the flop bet but once you're called on such a dry board, you're most likely behind and beating only a few hands (99, 88) and can probably bluff out only one better hand (JJ).
