Preview: value betting a set while protecting against a flush draw. At the time I couldn't be positive he had a flush draw.
I am not sure if I bet out the correct amounts, but looking back, I should have been betting more, because the first caller gives the second caller better odds for his draw. I also had the problem of being in early position after the flop. Anyone have any suggestions for improving this play? Any suggested amounts? Looking back, I'd say a turn bet of possibly 850 would have been right, but thats hind sight right? In situations like this, especially since you have two likely drawers against you I would just push the turn. People will either fold which is fine, or call getting dreadful pot odds for their open-ended or flush draws.
What you must prevent if at all possible is have 3-way pot with all five community cards out, especially ona board like that. |

You can get away with betting more on the flop, push the turn & you will get called by Kx or 2 pair. Sometimes people will still call all in on the turn with just a draw

How bad is a check here to get the other guy with a king to bet to scare away the flushes then push all in. Maybe other guy had ace of hearts too so im guessing this is just too much at this time. But unlikely so how about a check raise all in on turn?
How bad is that 300 bet lol. |
