Turn second nut straight form the BB

Hey guys,

villain is 37/0/0 over 10 hands, so no real read.

I think calling the flop is close with two clubs out there. I think his range icludes sets, two pair, lower straights.

Can I fold the turn when i hit my draw and he insta shoves over my raise?

As played you can't fold the turn, but I think the only time you aren't behind here is when you chop.

The way you played this hand is a major commmon leak I see from a lot of players. Fold flop! If it were open to you then go ahead and bet the hand but when you are calling bets with draws you have to ask yourself what kind of value will I get if I hit. In this case you are going to be drawing to a straight that is not the nut straight. If you hit there will be four to a straight so if you get action it will be from the same straight you have and you will chop or from the nut straight and you will lose a chunk of your stack or all of it if you get carried away like you did here. To make matters worse, there is a flush draw out there so some of your outs might not even be clean. Think about this advice it will save you a ton of dough!

I think I got carried away just like you said.
Thought ge might stack off with a set, two pair, etc.

But with 4 to a straight on the board that might not happen too often.

The only reason I consider calling/raising here is because I can represent the flush, too.

mostly I dump it.
