Quick Credit Card Question

Friday night I "rented" a keg tap from the liquor store for $50 and put it on my credit card. They actually charged my card for the $50. Monday I paid off the entire balance on my CC taking it to $0 owed. Tuesday I took the tap back and they wouldn't give me cash but, they re-swiped my card crediting me the full $50 (I have the receipt which shows -$50.00). I checked my CC statement online and it shows no indication of this.

How does this work? Will I get my $50 back?

FWIW this is a Wells Fargo card.

Yeah you'll have a positive balance of $50. You can either use it towards your next payment or have them send you the funds.

It always takes longer for a credit than a debit in my experiences. Wait a few days.
