Default NL10 Raised AQs from EP facing reraise

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG+1 ($15.95)
MP1 ($15.90)
Hero ($9.05)
CO ($1.10)
Button ($8.25)
SB ($2.60)
BB ($9.30)
UTG ($3.55)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.35</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $1.55</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero???

It's a matter of fold or shove here, what would you do?
My more important question is if you shove this kind of hand what would be the maximum $ a shortstack can have. This particular shorstack had $2.60 to begin with, would your maximum be $3, $4 or more?

I would fold. BB is clearly willing to play for his entire stack, since any re-raise is effectively a shove for him. At best you're against JJ, at worst AA/KK/QQ/AK.

Even if BB is shortstacking and playing with a smaller pair, you are still behind. In my mind anything other than folding is -EV.

Easy fold, you are clearly an underdog except if vilain has just lost a large pot. He could be steamy and push any aces or head cards.

Read dependant IMO. It costs $2.25 to see a $5.30 pot, those are good enough odds to accept a coinflip. So if you think he can make the play with a lot of hands I'd call, and if you suspect he'll only do it with AK, KK+ then of course its a fold.

Really depends on villain, if they are squeaky tight, fold if they are laggy shove. Three-bet from an unknown shortstack I think is a fold.

I think it's a shove, but it depends on whether the short stack sat down short or became short from losing hands or getting blinded down. If they sat down short I think it's a fold. Otherwise, I think it's a shove because I see a lot of people at these levels start getting aggressive with pretty marginal hands when they get short.

i dont like shove at all, villain is shoving with just about anything in his spot, why would he do a raise? unless he want you to play this pot. Could be a monster.

There is no read on the villan, based on how most of these SSers play at 10NL you are at best 50% against their range. Just, give it up and live to fight another day.

Also, reload PF.

So to sum up:

Shove when shortstack villain is steamy after a large loss or is very loose.
Fold when villain just sat down so you have no reads on him or when villain is tight. You are probably at best a coinflip.

Tnx guys, this helps a lot.

When is it exactly shove-time, when villain or you bet half of stack already? Is that a general rule?
