Default River Play - 2nd Nut boat (PLO $100)

Bodog PLO 100 - Table is loose (very), and rather passive post flop.

Hero is CO with ~$85
Villain is MP1 with ~75. Villain is a loose, passive, calling station style big time loser (the biggest in my DB).

UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, MP1 (villain) limps and Hero limps with QQJx one suit. SB completes and BB checks.

Flop comes AJ3 and it's checked around (pot: $6)
Turn comes J (no flush draw) and it's checked around
River is a Q (no flush possible)

It's checked to villain who pots $6.

Hero thinks for 0.1 sec and repots to $24.
Good? Y/N?

Folded to villain who minraises.
Can hero ever:
a) laydown
b) consider flat-calling?
Or is the insta 3-bet allin the right play?

What would be the criteria to make this play horrible?
What is your prefer play there (raise then call a reraise? just call the first $6? or raise-reraise?)

Thanks if you can help me. I'm not sure I ever understood PLO now.

\begin(hint)
Even though Villain is a calling station but pots the river into the field and then min reraise?
\end(hint)

Standard allin? How deep should we be/what kind of tell would I need to consider either calling the 1st or the 3rd one?

Hero can lay this down a fair amount. The fact that a LAP has reraised means it is highly unlikely this isnt the nuts. You are more than twice as likely to run into ajxx as qjxx here.

regarding the villian's original bet, I would have miniraised.

?

I'm not getting it. I hope he has AJ or QJ...I have Queens full! Maybe you misread my hand, or I didn't get ur post. The only hand that has me beat here is AAxx. If I have confidence that he would put all his money in with AJ, QJ or J3 & 33 at least 50% of the time I'm good. But how in the world can I / should I consider (in terms of %) the chances that he has AAxx (making any raise -EV if he'd call <50% without aces)

My question here is asking for a balance between sensible play (you don't have the nuts and all the cards are out) and profitable play (getting the most ouf of my hand, i.e beyond his $6 bet).

I actually 4 bet allin. Wasn't so much more after the third bet, but I was wondering how I would have done in a very deep stack situation.

Villain paused for a long time. Hero's heart was full of joy until Villain finally turned up AAxx.

Hero remembered a famous movie and felt stupid, esp. since he was totally blinded by the PokerAce HUD stat saying Villain was down $1K+ in 500 hands.

Hero insta quit after the slowroll (maybe Villain Tilly'ed and put me on quads), but I started questioning my understanding of PLO and decided 2+2 would help him to draw the line between what is standard and what is just bad play/tilt, esp. since I know I happen to play 400BB+ pot very often, and I don't play too well in those situation, missing value often. On that particular pot, I was eagerly waiting for him to call and felt so outplayed after the hand it was sad

I don't want to feel sorry so if I played it bad, let me know. Esp. how you guys would do in other circumstances (deep etc.)

oh sorry
hvnt noticed that villian was \\Villain is a loose, passive, calling station style big time loser\\

please say next time that he is VERY passive

if he has agression factor <0.4 (you said you have PAHUD to see) then probably you may miniraise and just call

but most of the time with any usual donk its insta ARRR IN : )

p.s. AA is not the only hand that beats you. JJ beats you too

If villian shows JJ never play at the poker site again. Hero has j in his hand.

What is villans Agression factor on the river?? if hes a total calling station and it reads something like flop 1.0, turn 0.5 river 1.5, then i would just call

if its soemthing dumb like 1.0, 1.0, 7.0 and the guy just likes to float and donk then i insta re-pot and make a note
